Galini
Galene (means ‘calm weather’ or ‘calm, tranquility’) in ancient Greek religion was a minor goddess personifying calm seas. Hesiod enumerates her as one of the 50 Nereids, sea-nymph daughters of the ‘Old Man of the Sea’ Nereus and the Oceanid Doris, perhaps identical with her sister Galatea.
